Palizzi Social Club is special not just because of the food or the old-school South Philly vibe, but because of the people who work there. When you walk in, you’re not just going to a bar or restaurant — you’re visiting friends. Jorgen Eriksen is the club’s General Manager and very much part of that experience, a constant presence on the floor, welcoming members and stopping to chat throughout the night. Outside Palizzi, Jorgen enjoys golf and snowboarding, and makes collage art that blends two of his favorite worlds: sports and booze.
We asked Jorgen to share a few favorite spots around Philly.
