James Connelly is a Philadelphia-based artist and Co-Owner & Creative Director of Together Athletics, a no-nonsense fitness studio and community built around strength, stretch, and consistency. What began as small online classes during the early days of the pandemic has since grown into three Old City studios, with another project rumored to be in the works.
Alongside Together, James maintains his own art practice at sonofgrinch.com, creating graphic-driven work and screen printing on the side. Based in Old City, James is deeply woven into the neighborhood, regularly popping into local shops and cafés just to connect. That openness quietly shapes the work, the spaces, and the community around him.
