After years as a pastry chef in Chicago, Lisa Schoenbeck narrowed her focus to chocolate, which she considers to be the most challenging and rewarding of all pastry arts. It combines everything she’s passionate about: design, precision, quality, and aesthetics. She started Good Good Chocolates in 2016, and opened her brick and mortar shop on Fabric Row in 2024. The candy made at Good Good is instantly recognizable–vibrant, shiny bonbons with inventive flavors and artful decoration. Each piece of chocolate sold there takes days to make, and requires expert knowledge and a passion for the process.
