Laura Weizer owns Betsu Studio– a 4,000 square foot design studio and showroom in a warehouse known as “The Loom” in Port Richmond. But before she was at the helm of what Dwell Magazine named one of the best design shops in America, she was an illustrator, a set designer, and a production designer for tv and commercials. All of this combined experience led her to open Betsu in 2017, which functions as both a shop with a massive selection of vintage furniture and design objects, and interior design firm. Her collaborations include Sacred Vice Brewing, Middle Child Clubhouse, and many full design home renovations throughout Philadelphia.
