Elise Hanks owns Terra Luna Herbals, a flower farm and apothecary in Norris Square, offering seasonal flowers, herbal tinctures, and homemade teas. Beginning as a small scale operation in 2015 mostly focusing on bodycare products, Elise soon expanded to growing and wholesaling cut flowers at her small urban farm. She believes in sustainable, organic agriculture, offering superior blooms without the plastic packaging, boxes, and chemicals usually associated with international flower importing. With a background in floral design, Elise also offers design services and workshops. Terra Luna cut flowers are available weekly at both Riverwards Produce locations, through the Philadelphia Floral Guild, or directly from Terra Luna’s website.
