Alex Tewfik is the owner of Mish Mish, one of our favorite restaurants in the city and a place that keeps finding ways to surprise us. The menu shifts often, familiar ideas taking on new shapes, and it’s paired with a smart, unfussy selection of natural wines. Before opening Mish Mish in 2022, Alex spent years writing about food in Philadelphia, including time as food editor at Philadelphia Magazine, where he still contributes. He also hosts the monthly Bar Mish Mish nights at Ace Outpost.
